MARVIN H. BUTLER MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

The Marvin H. Butler Memorial Scholarship was established by Mrs. Dorothy Butler, family, friends, and colleagues to honor former Economics professor, Marvin H. Butler. CRITERIA: Economics major, Financial need will be a consideration, Preference will be given to students who are working to support themselves in school, Preference should also be given to a student who participates in extracurricular activities, projects and papers, Preference will be given to undergraduate applicants with a GPA of 2.75 or better, but a 2.50 is acceptable, Apllicant must have a second semester junior standing or higher, Seniors graduating in the spring or summer semesters are not eligible unless they have been accepted into the Master of Arts in Economics program for the coming fall semester.
