J. David and Nancy Smith Memorial Scholarship

The J. David Smith Accountancy Award was established in 1993 by family and friends of Dr. J. David Smith, former Professor of Accountancy at WIU, who organized the Accountancy Society at WIU. The name was later changed to the J. David and Nancy Smith Memorial Scholarship.

CRITERIA:

• Accounting major
• Participation in department activities and dedication to good study habits and school work
• Demonstrated financial need for professional development award.
