ROBERT LANG BLAKSLEE MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP FOR SPECIAL EDUCATION

This scholarship is in memory of Robert Lang Blakslee, who was born the first son, and fourth of five children, to Kathryn and Edward Blakslee in 1954. Robert Lang Blakslee’s life was taken prematurely at the age of 16; however, the effect that he had on the entire Blakslee family will never be forgotten. CRITERIA: The student must be declared a special education major (intending to qualify for certification as a Learning Behavior Specialist I) and accepted into the Teacher Education Program (TEP). Preference is given to a student whose emphasis or concentration is in the area of mental retardation.
