Vivian Diana Kline and Lenore Huston Kline Current Student Scholarship

This account was funded by a bequest from Ms. Vivian Diana Kline (Diana) and her mother, Lenore Huston Kline. Diana attended Western Academy in Macomb, IL, the high school division of Stephens College in Columbia, MO, and went on to complete her first two years of undergraduate training in the same school. She received her Bachelors and Masters in Art from the University of North Carolina.

CRITERIA:
 Must have a declared major in the Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures.
 Must have completed at least 3 semester hours of coursework in the Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures.
 Must have a minimum GPA of 3.5 for coursework taken in the Foreign Languages and Literatures Department.
 Preference may be given to primary (or first) majors.

Applicants must complete an essay (minimum of 500 words) in English describing their prior experience with foreign languages and how they plan to utilize foreign languages in their future academic and career plans.
