Nancy and Bruce Foster Radio Scholarship

The Fosters have been involved with radio and broadcasting for many years. They are the owners of Prestige Communications, which transmits several radio stations in the Macomb, IL area. The Fosters are also active in volunteerism, having served on the WIU Performing Arts Society Board and several organizations in the community.

CRITERIA:
 Must be a rising senior, having completed 90 semester hours at the end of the spring semester of application
 Pursuing a B.A. in Broadcasting
 Must show strong interest in radio broadcasting
 Must have completed two years of work at WIUS-FM or two years at a local or regional radio station by the end of the application period
 Demonstrate talent, commitment, excellence, and professional ambition in broadcasting
 Scholarship is awarded to the top student. If more than one student is considered qualified, preference shall be given to a student with demonstrated participation in broadcasting activities
