Norm and Judy Rocke Mathematics Scholarship

The Western Illinois University Foundation will hereby esrablish a scholarship endowment per the terms of this agreement, to become effective on such date as the minimum funding requirements for an endowed scholarship fund have been received and accepted·by the Foundation. This scholarship fund has been esrablished by Nomi and Judy Rocke to provide financial assisrance to an undergraduate student at Will majoring in Mathematics. Norm graduated from Western Illinois University in 1971 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics, with an emphasis in teacher education, and a minor in Physics. The Rocke’s established this scholarship based on their belief in the imporrance 0f a quality education. ·They recognize the cost of a college education is out of reach for many and feel fortunate to be able to help others achieve their educational goals.

CRITERIA:
• Applicant must be an undergraduate student at WilJ majoring in Mathematics.
• A GPA of 3.0 or better.
• Financial need is not required but is a consideration.
• Activity/involvement within the Department of Mathematics and/or the community.
