Norm and Judy Rocke Physics Scholarship

The Western Illinois University Foundation will hereby establish a scholarship endowment per the terms of this agreement, to become effective on such date as the minimum funding requirements for
an endowed sch?larship fund have bee,n rece􀀆ved and accepted by the Foundation. This scholarship fund has been established by Norm and Judy Rocke to provide financial assistance to an
undergraduate student at WIU majoring in Physics. Nonu graduated from Western Illinois
University in 1971 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics, with an emphasis in teacher education, and a minor in Physics. The Rocke’s established this scholarship based on their belief in the importance of a quality education. They recognize the cost of a college education is out of reach for many and feel fortunate to be able to help others achieve their educational goals.

CRITERIA:
• Applicant must be an undergraduate student at WIU majoring in Physics.
• A GPA of 3.0 or better.
• Financial need is not required but is a·consideration.
• Activity /involvement within the Department of Physics and/ or the community.
