Ernest J. Codilis, Jr. Pre-Law Scholarship

Ernest Codilis assumed the role of primary donor. Codilis graduated from WIU in 1973 with a degree in political science, and from there, he continued his education at DePaul University in Chicago, where he receied his Juris Doctor degree in 1976. Having been through law school, Codilis wanted to help Western students graduate from WIU and enter law school without the debt that often accompanies higher education.
CRITERIA:
 Good academic standing with a minimum 3.4 GPA
 Enrolled full time in the Illinois Centennial Honors College pursuing the Honors Pre-Law minor
 Junior or senior class level at the semester of scholarship acceptance
 Demonstrated record of campus and/or community service
