JARREL AND SYLVIA HOFER SCHOLARSHIP

The fund was established by Sylvia in the name of Jarrel and Sylvia Hofer. Jarrel was a faculty member in the WIU Industrial Education and Technology Department for 25 years.
According to his colleague and long-time Department Chair, Dr. Tom Bridge, Jarrel was the first faculty member in the WIU Industrial Education and Technology Department to go online with students and course instruction. He was a leader of computer usage in the department.

CRITERIA:
 Major in Manufacturing Engineering Technology (Engineering Technology)
 Junior or senior class standing (at least 60 semester hours completed), including transfer students
 Minimum 3.0 GPA overall/minimum 3.0 GPA in Manufacturing Engineering Technology major
 Financial need
