STEPHANIE ERIN WILSON MEMORIAL BROADCASTING SCHOLARSHIP
The Stephanie Erin Wilson Memorial Broadcasting Scholarship was established May 15, 1999, by Stephanie’s mother, Carol Hubach, to honor her daughter’s memory. Stephanie would have graduated from Western Illinois University in May 1999, but died unexpectedly in August 1998. She had just completed an internship at KDNL-TV in St. Louis, Missouri, in the newsroom. The scholarship will be given to a promising student in television broadcasting.
CRITERIA:
Pursuing a B.A. degree in Broadcasting
Minimum 3.0 GPA in broadcasting with a minimum of 9 semester hours in the broadcasting program
Completed a minimum of 60 semester hours at the end of the spring semester
Demonstrate talent, commitment, excellence and professional ambition in broadcasting
Preference to a student with demonstrated participation in broadcasting activities
