C. Robin & John Frieden Memorial Scholarship

NOTE: THIS IS AN OUTSIDE SCHOLARSHIP – eligible students should contact the Rockridge High School counselor to obtain and submit an application.

The C. Robi Frieden Memorial Scholarship was established by Aundrea (Andi) Frieden Gulley and her husband Joe, in memory of Andi’s mother. The scholarship was remaned to C. Robin & John Frieden Memorial Scholarship in memorial of both Robin and her husband, John.

CRITERIA:

• Students must be on track to graduate from Rockridge High School and must be accepted as an incoming freshman at Western Illinois University
• Examples of involvement which will be given weight are participation in politics, charitable organizations, youth mentoring (including camp counseling), mission trips, or any other activity that demonstrates a desire to serve others and make a positive contribution to one’s community.
• Preference will be given to those applicants who demonstrate leadership in their school, church, or community.
