MICHAEL R. & SUSAN EASTON STANKO SCIENCE EDUCATION SCHOLARSHIP

This scholarship was established by Stephen Stanko in honor of his parents Michael and Susan Stanko. This is a dedication to his parents and to science teachers everywhere. CRITERIA: Secondary Science major with a teacher certification option within the CAS & has been accepted to the Teacher Education Program by COEHS, Must be a junior or a transfer student in good standing with overall GPA of 3.0 or higher, Has potential to be a leader in the field & have a commitment to teaching. Preference to students with financial need & an expressed desire to pursue a career in teaching middle school or high school Science. Renewable if satisfactory progress.
