Dorothy Looser-Flake & Roberta Looser Scholarship

The Looser-Flake Charitable Foundation was established to recognize the dedicated educational careers of Dorothy Looser-Flake and her sister, Roberta Looser, as well as their upbringing in Mercer County. The Looser-Flake Foundation’s mission is to advance economic development and further cultural and educational opportunities in Mercer County, Illinois, with a particular focus on New Boston Township.

CRITERIA:
Resident of Mercer County, Illinois
Enrolled full-time at WIU-Macomb or WIU-QC
Any major with preference for Education or Agriculture majors and minors
Undergraduate
Minimum 2.5 GPA
Financial need
Demonstrated community service to Mercer County, especially New Boston Township, with preference for those who plan to reside in Mercer County after degree attainment
