Sentry Insurance Diversity Scholarship

HISTORY:
To provide scholarships within WIU that encourage diversity, inclusivity, and equitable access to education within the University and community.

CRITERIA & ELIGIBILITY:
• Incoming Freshman from historically underrepresented groups
• Business, Economics, Computer Science, IT, Actuarial Science, math, Finance and Accounting majors
• GPA of 2.5+
• Preference to students from Western Illinois
• Preferences to students with Financial need
• Preference will be given to students that demonstrate resiliency, a positive attitude, and drive to succeed regardless of obstacles or hurdles that they face in life.

Renewed for up to one year.
