Carol J. Grice Major Scholarship
The Carol J. Grice Major Scholarship was established in 1993 by Dr. George Grice in honor of his sister, Carol J. Grice Major. A 1965 graduate of WIU, Carol J. Grice Major is a teacher in Ohio. Carol Grice Major’s brother George, sister Leanne, mother Evelyn, father Wrenn, and paternal grandmother Mrs. Jessie F. Routh Grice are all WIU graduates.
CRITERIA:
Be enrolled for a minimum of six semester hours
Be an undergraduate student planning to teach at the elementary level at the time the scholarship is awarded
Be a currently enrolled or new transfer student with a minimum 3.0 GPA, or be an incoming freshmen in the top 25% of high school graduating class and have an ACT composite of 25 or higher.
