Bob and Donna Pierson Scholarship

HISTORY:
This account was established in Nov 2013 by a donation from the Piersons. Bob was a Professor at WIU in the College of Education for 30 years, retiring in 1990. He was named teacher of the year in 1978. Donna received her Bachelor of Science in Education in 1965 and her MS-ED in 1979 from WIU. She was a member of the Alpha Sigma Tau Sorority and enjoyed teaching.

CRITERIA:
• Major in the College of Education and Human Services
• Minimum junior class level and/or 60 semester hours earned
• Resident of any Illinois county except Cook County
• Academic excellence and/or contributions to the field of education or human services
