PURSUIT OF EDUCATION SCHOLARSHIP

Martin R Brown is a 1977 Quantitative and Information Science alumna. After coinpletion of his studies at WIU, he joined Arthur Andersen’s Management Consulting practice which later became Accenture LLC. He retired as a founding partner in 2003. Understanding that current college students are unable to cover education expenses by saving money from summer and part-time employment, as he was able to do when he attended WIU, he chose to create this scholarship to help students attain their degrees.

CRITERIA:
Major in the School of Computer Sciences
Entering freshmen through senior level students are eligible
Full-time students only
Financial need is a consideration
Preference should be given to first generation college students
