JOHNSON JOURNALISM FUND

This is an account that funded through memorial donations in memory of Rick Johnson, former WIU student.

CRITERIA:
1. The fund can be used for students by themselves or in activities that directly benefits them.
2. There will be a form that will be completed and approved by the journalism director and the department chair, who both are fiscal agents for this account.
3. The funds can be given to students for the following purposes.
 Help students to pay the full or partial cost of registration to a professional conference.
 Pay for the full or partial cost of organizing an activity on behalf of a journalism student organization including SPJ, PRSSA, NABJ, or WAF.
4. If the fund is given to a student, he or she must be a journalism major or minor with a minimum GPA of 2.5 or more.
