THOMAS G OAKSON MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

This scholarship fund was established by colleagues of Thomas G. Oakson. CRITERIA: Sophomore, junior, or senior majoring in the Department of Curriculum & Instruction in the College of Education and Human Services, Students applying should be from Lake or Macon counties in Illinois, Students applying should have a 2.75 GPA overall and 3.0 GPA in their major, Students applying must write an essay explaining why he/she wants to be a teacher and how this scholarship will help with their education, Students must supply three letters of recommendation for the scholarship.
