Lambda Alpha Epsilon (Phi Alpha Epsilon Chapter) initiated a criminal justice scholarship to encourage high academic achievement by declared Law Enforcement Administration majors at Western Illinois University. CRITERIA: Current member of the WIU Chapter of Lambda Alpha Epsilon, Declared Law Enforcement and Justice Administration (LEJA) major,
Must have completed at least three LEJA courses and must be enrolled in a LEJA or related course (e.g. business, computer science) when applying for the scholarship, Minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA, Enrolled full time, Undergraduate or graduate, Application packet which includes membership verification, official transcript, prepared paper, prepared statement, and letter of recommendation, Financial need, race, age, sex, religion, or national origin will not be considered in selecting recipients.
