Jessie Ferne Routh Grice Scholarship
The Jessie Ferne Routh Grice Scholarship was established in 1993 by Dr. George Grice in honor of his paternal grandmother, Mrs. Jessie Ferne Routh Grice. Mrs. Grice was a graduate of WIU as was her son Wrenn, daughter-in-law Evelyn, and three grandchildren-George, Carol and Leanne.
CRITERIA:
Incoming freshmen in the upper 25% of his/her class and have an ACT composite score of 25 or higher, or a currently enrolled/incoming transfer student having a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Enrolled for a minimum of twelve semester hours
Plan to teach at the elementary level
