Norman Severinsen Scholarship in Speech/Language Pathology

This account was established in the Spring of 1987 from a donation made by Rosalie and Norman Severinsen in December of 1985. Dr. Severinsen was a faculty member in the Department of Counselor Education from 1961 until 1988.

CRITERIA:
 Senior who is planning to enter graduate studies in Speech/Language Pathology
 Currently enrolled in the undergraduate Speech/Language Pathology program and have achieved a minimum 3.25 GPA
 Have earned at least a B in their practicum experience
 Must have completed all application materials and have been accepted by the WIU School of Graduate Studies by April 15 of the year in which they plan to begin graduate studies
 Demonstrate exceptional potential as a clinician and be of good moral character
 Must be enrolled as a full-time first year graduate student majoring in Speech/Language Pathology at the time the award is presented
