MAXINE L. ROBINSON SCHOLARSHIP

The Maxine L. Robinson Scholarship Fund was established by Mrs. Opal Wedeberg to honor her sister Maxine Robinson. CRITERIA: Elementary Education major, Resident of one of 27 west-central Illinois counties* served by WIU, Incoming freshman or transfer: Freshmen must have a minimum 23 ACT and rank in the upper 25% of graduating high school class, Transfer students must have completed a minimum 30 semester hours and have a minimum 3.25 GPA on a 4.0 scale. Evidence of involvement in high school and community activities, Demonstrated financial need, Letter of recommendation from high school counselor, Dean, Principal, or appropriate administrator attesting to the quality and quantity of academic performance and promise as an educator. Preference given to a McDonough County, IL student.
