M. LYNNE BROWN MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

The M. Lynne Brown Memorial was established by Nancy K. Young-Brown, a 1957 and 1981 WIU graduate, as a memorial to her daughter, M. Lynne Brown, who died in January of 1982. Lynne was a 1980 graduate of WIU. Lynne’s father, George F. Brown, was a ’59 WIU graduate.

CRITERIA:
 Elementary Education Master’s Degree candidate with a specialization in Early Childhood (preschool-primary)
 At least 15 semester hours must be completed at Western
 Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 is required
 Demonstrated contributions to the education community
