Leanne L. (Grice) Porch Scholarship

The Leanne L. Grice Porch Scholarship was established in 1993 by Dr. George Grice in honor of his sister, Leanne L. Grice Porch. A 1974 graduate of WIU, Leanne L. Grice Porch is a teacher in Indiana. Leanne’s brother George, sister Carol, mother Evelyn, father Wrenn, and paternal grandmother Mrs. Jessie F. Routh Grice are all WIU graduates.

CRITERIA:
 Incoming freshmen in the upper 25% of his/her class and have an ACT composite score of 25 or higher, or a currently enrolled/incoming transfer student having a GPA of 2.5 or higher.
 Enrolled for a minimum of twelve hours
 Plan to teach at the elementary level
