GREG & DOROTHY CHAPMAN COMMUNITY POLICING SCHOLARSHIP

Greg Chapman served as a police officer in Plainfield, IL for six years while he attended classes at WIU. While employment expectations and a different career path kept him from completing his bachelor’s degree in LEJA, he considers WIU his university and places a high value on their graduates. Having served as a police commissioner in Plainfield, he understands the importance of well prepared officers. He also heavily believes in the importance of community service and volunteer work.
