JAY W. STEIN YOUNG SCHOLARS AWARD

The Jay W. Stein Young Scholars Award in Educational and Interdisciplinary Studies was established by the Society of Educators and Scholars in honor of its founder. CRITERIA: Major in the College of Education and Human Services or the College of Arts and Sciences, Interdisciplinary insight and conscientious use of the library are relevant, Any academic discipline is eligible, Promise of high quality productive research and writing upon completion of a degree program, Demonstrated devotion to human kindness and integrity. Preference to a student who is not already a recipient of Foundation scholarships, who is in an academic area different from that of the awardee the previous year, and who is not necessarily in receipt of the highest grades.
