Jerry Logan Scholarship

Gerald “Jerry” Logan was an alum of WIU, having completed a Bachelor of Science of Men’s Physical Education in 1959 and a Master of Science in Education Administration in 1961. He taught for over 40 years at Illini West High school, formerly Carthage High School, as well as nine years as an adjunct instructor at Carl Sandberg College. A long time and Highly successful girls basketball coach, he led his teams to twelve state tournament appearances, including two state championships.
